Nowadays, I notice that people on set are more distant. In the past, the set felt like a large family and I remember enjoying lunch breaks together under a tree at the shoot location. Instead of personal caravans, even Shivarajkumar himself would serve food to everyone. There used to be a clear distinction between commercial and parallel cinema. Some films were specifically geared towards winning awards. Nowadays, we see a shift where realistic films also become successful commercially. This change brings me joy as it means effort is put into all types of films. The love and support I have received and continue to receive is truly remarkable. It is a great blessing to be remembered for the roles I have portrayed.

Anu Prabhakar expresses her desire for more substantial roles for women in films.
